My name is Louise and I am a fully qualified, BABCP-accredited Psychotherapist, working with Think CBT in my clinic in Colchester, Essex (CO1). I also provide CBT and EMDR online via video link.

I have over 19 years' experience working within the NHS in the capacity of Mental Health Nurse and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I hold a post graduate diploma in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and specialist qualification in EMDR as well as a degree in Mental Health Nursing.

I have worked in a variety of settings, such as the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies service delivering CBT to clients with depression and generalised anxiety disorders. I have successfully worked with conditions such as depression, generalised anxiety, OCD, post traumatic stress and health anxiety.

Since qualifying in EMDR, I now also work with clients  attempting to overcome a wide range of trauma and traumatic experiences and those diagnosed with PTSD. 

I abide by the policies and ethical standards laid down by the BABCP and I have full professional indemnity to work as a therapist in the UK.
